1. Where do you train and how long have you been training?
I am currently a San Diego Personal Trainer for Women specializing in outdoor, In-Home, and workouts at my home studio. I have been a Personal Trainer since 2004, starting my Personal Training journey at the Women’s gym that I own, Fit For Her in Edmond, Oklahoma. I moved to San Diego in 2008 and immediately started my in home Personal Training business.

2. What made you start as a trainer?
I began my fitness career as a Professional Ballet Dancer. Being injury prone as a dancer in my youth, I searched for ways to strengthen my body. Strength Training ended up being the answer to keeping me injury free as a Professional Dancer, allowing me to rise to the highest rank of Principal Dancer.
I realized the benefits of strength training for dancers and women in general. This prompted me to open my gym and experiment and create my very own workout technique.

3. What certifications do you have and specialty training?
I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am also Pilates Mat certified.

4. Is promoting yourself something you work at and do you have methods you say work for you?
Promoting myself is something that I have become quite good at in recent years due to the heightened awareness of social networking. I’d tell you my marketing methods, but then I would lose my advantage!

5. How does twitter Work for you in promoting your personal training services?
Twitter helps to create awareness within the fitness community worldwide. Locally, not so much. If someone is looking for a San Diego Personal Trainer, they’ll go to craigslist.

6. Do you have a particularly positive or negative experience with using Twitter as a personal trainer.
I have had someone come up to me at San Diego fitness convention and say, “Oh my god, are you Personal Trainer Nikol Klein? I follow you on twitter.” I thought that was pretty cool.

7.Who is the most famous person that you have trained and for how long?
They’re not famous to you, but I have worked with various Professional Ballet Dancers throughout the country…It doesn’t get any more talented than that.
I have also had the chance to give core-conditioning workouts to several Olympic BMX Medalists.

8. Do you have a fitness person that you look up to or has inspired you?
My fiancé, Greg Romero, who is the Coach of two Olympic Medalists, has inspired me to push myself further with Personal Training. His support and dedication to his clients has truly inspired me to be my best and to keep pushing my clients beyond their limits.

9. What is the best thing about being a personal trainer?
I have to say, being a San Diego Personal Trainer is pretty awesome. I love the freedom to make my own schedule, meeting new people, and the fact that I am active all day long. It’s also pretty cool to be able to hold a Boot Camp at the beach!

10. Describe a typical workout with you.
My workouts are truly unique. Since I only train Women, I focus on the typical problem areas that Women are looking to slim down. I specialize in no-bulk workouts utilizing a lot of my Ballet background to create a fun, effective workout that will lean out your muscles. Clients trust me because they know Ballet Dancer is pretty much synonymous with being skinny. (Unlike Tracy Anderson, I actually was a Professional Dancer!)

11. What question would you like to ask yourself or what is a success story that you would like to share.
If I was a Woman reading this, I would ask, how can I contact you? The answer; visit http://www.nikolklein.com or call (858) 598-5157 TODAY!
